Photo Permits

The Longview Pergola is privately owned by the New Longview Community Association.

Parking is limited and non-resident access without an approved photo permit is strictly prohibited.

Longview Pergola provides an ideal backdrop for wedding, engagement, prom, family, graduations, fashion, quinceaneras, maternity, any other special occasion photography as well as commercial photography. We welcome photographers and their clients to enjoy the beauty of the historic and picturesque lake, but please realize that Longview Pergola is private property and reservations are required. In order to accommodate as many photography requests as we can, special rules are set for site use.

A permit is required for all professional or commercial photography.

Are wedding day photos allowed?

Wedding parties with an approved permit may use the grounds for one hour, and are limited to the couple, parents, and attendants totaling no more than 25 people.

How to acquire a photo permit?

  • Permits are issued on a first come first served basis, up to 48 hours in advance and can be reserved HERE

  • A fee of $65/1-3 guests, $100/4-12 guests and $125/13-25 guests, is charged for a one hour period

  • Time slots begin and end on the hour. Submit a photo session reservation through our website and receive your photo permit.

  • Passes will be processed and distributed immediately upon payment.

  • Rescheduling is allowed in the case of inclement weather or client cancellation. Refunds are not issued. Contact info@nlvpergola.com with rescheduled requested date/time. Please do not complete another online request form.

Is the location private?

Please keep in mind that Longview Pergola is located in a residential area and privacy cannot be guaranteed. Only one reserved photography session reservation is allowed per hour, however, be aware that there is always a chance residents may be enjoying other areas of the property during this time. In the event of a conflict, please be respectful and be prepared to show proof of registration.

What are the rules for photographers?

  • Photographers are prohibited from taking photographs near or around any residence

  • No swimwear photography allowed.

  • Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Photographers not adhering to the rules and regulations may be asked to leave the premises immediately, and professionals may forfeit their future photography permit.

  • If you are bringing in animals, all must be leashed.

Who is required to purchase a permit?

All professional photographers, wedding parties, and groups larger than 3 people taking photos or videos on Longview Pergola property are required to obtain a photography permit.
